In order to build China into a country with strong transportation network and strengthen the construction of highly skilled personnel in the transportation industry, On 27th July, hosted by the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and the Communist Youth League Central Committee, organized by the Occupational Qualification Centre of Ministry of Transport, China Academy of Transportation Science, China Transport News, Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, co-organized by Beijing Mass Transit Railway Operation Corporation co., Ltd., Transportation science and technology media (Beijing) co., Ltd., Zhengzhou J&T Hi-Tech Co., Ltd, the grand opening and Beijing preliminaries of the tenth national transportation industry Vocational Skills Competition 2018 were held at Wanliu Base of Beijing Mass Transit Railway Operation Corporation co., Ltd.

Vice Minister Zhao Baodong read out the award of the honorary title of "National Youth Expert" which awarded to the winner of the National Transportation Industry Vocational Skills Competition 2017.

As a co-organizer of the competition, he made a solemn promise to the organizing committee of the competition on behalf of the Zhengzhou J&T Hi-Tech Co., Ltd, that he would support the successful holding of the “J&T cup" vocational skills competition of metro drivers and metro operation attendants in urban rail transit. Skilled personnel is an important part of human resources in China.
The National Transportation Industry Vocational Skills Competition has become a national first class competition which is jointly organized by many departments and widely participated by people working in rail sector, and has won general praise from both inside and outside the industry. Departments in charge of communications and transportation at all levels and enterprises and institutions should attach importance to the work of vocational skill competitions and create a good social environment for cultivating craftsmen and reshaping the spirit of craftsmen in big countries.
